What is unwrap?
unwrap makes animated e-cards that the recipient taps to open on their phone. Each card can include your voice note, up to six photos, messages from family and friends, and music. Cards cost from £2.99.
Do they need an app?
No. They tap the link and the card opens in their phone's browser, on iPhone or Android, or on a computer.
Do I need an account?
No. Pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay or card and we email you a private link to edit or resend your card.
How do I record a voice message?
Tap the red record button in the card maker and allow the microphone. You can record up to 60 seconds, listen back, and record again. You can also upload a voice memo instead.
Who can see my card?
Only people with the link. Links are long and random, never listed or searchable, and you can delete the card and its photos at any time.
Can I schedule a card?
Yes. On Memories and Family you choose the date and time, for example 7am on Christmas Day, and it's delivered automatically.
Can I change it after paying?
Yes, until it's delivered. Use the edit link in your receipt email to fix a typo or swap a photo.
What if something goes wrong?
If your card doesn't work, you get a full refund. Reply to your receipt email and a person will help.
Can I send a Christmas e-card that arrives on Christmas morning?
Yes. Choose a delivery time when you make the card, for example 7am on 25 December, and the link is sent automatically by email or text.
Can the whole family add messages to one Christmas card?
Yes. On the Family plan up to 15 people can add their own message, and each one appears as an ornament on the tree.
Can I send a birthday card with my voice?
Yes. Record a voice note of up to 60 seconds right in your browser, or upload one from your phone. It plays inside the card with subtitles.
Can a group sign one birthday e-card?
Yes. Share an invite link and up to 15 people can add their own message before it's sent.
What do I write in a Valentine's e-card?
Keep it specific. A real memory, one thing only they do, and how they make you feel works better than a long poem. Crush lets you list your reasons one at a time.
Is the card private?
Yes. Only someone with the link can open it, and you can delete it at any time.
When is Mother's Day in the UK?
UK Mother's Day (Mothering Sunday) falls on the fourth Sunday of Lent, usually in March. You can make the card early and schedule it for that morning.
Can children record a message?
Yes. Anyone can record a voice note in the browser with a parent's phone, no account needed.
What's a good anniversary message?
Name a moment from each year you've been together, then say what you're looking forward to. Always shows each moment as its own step.
How many photos can I add?
Up to six photos on the Memories and Family plans, each with its own caption.
Can I send Diwali wishes to family abroad?
Yes. The card is a link, so it opens anywhere in the world on any phone, with no app.
Can I write the message in Hindi or another language?
Yes. Messages, captions and subtitles can be written in any language your phone can type.
Can I send an Eid card for both Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha?
Yes. Write your own headline, for example Eid al-Adha Mubarak, and the card uses it.
Can I write in Arabic or Urdu?
Yes. Any language your phone can type works in messages and captions.
Can I schedule a card for midnight on New Year's Eve?
Yes. Pick 00:00 on 1 January as the delivery time.
Can I send it to a group chat?
Yes. Paste the link into any group chat. Everyone with the link can open it.
