Who we are
unwrap makes animated e-cards. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: hello@example.com.
What we collect
- Your email address and payment confirmation (card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us).
- The content you put in a card: names, messages, photos, voice notes and replies.
- Basic technical data such as browser type and approximate country, to keep the service working and secure.
Why we use it
- To make, deliver and store your card (performance of a contract).
- To send receipts, edit links and scheduled cards (performance of a contract).
- To prevent fraud and abuse (legitimate interests).
Who can see your card
Only people with the card's private link. Links are long and random and are never listed or indexed.
Who we share data with
Service providers that run the service for us under data processing agreements: payment processing (Stripe), hosting and storage, and email delivery. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Cards and their media are kept for 12 months after delivery unless you delete them sooner. Payment records are kept as required by UK law.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, delete or export your data, and object to some uses. Email hello@example.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
